What Is FactRelay?
An auditable GEO operations and verified brand knowledge practice — what it does, what it refuses to promise, and how the four product surfaces fit together.
FactRelay connects two things that are usually sold separately:
- GEO operations — measuring how AI assistants understand, cite, compare, and recommend your brand against real buyer questions, then turning gaps into technical, content, and source tasks.
- Verified brand knowledge — company-approved facts with evidence, scope, versions, and owners, maintained as an operating asset rather than rewritten ad hoc for every campaign.
The connection is an evidence chain that runs through everything we deliver:
Response snapshot → cited source → approved fact
→ human review → client confirmation → remediation task
→ publishing log → like-for-like retest
Every client-visible conclusion can be walked back along that chain. If a finding cannot reach a snapshot, a source, and an approved fact, it does not ship.
What makes this different from AI visibility tracking
Most tools in this market show whether your brand appeared, its share of voice, and a sentiment score. Useful — but it stops where the real questions begin. FactRelay shows what was said, where it came from, what your company has approved, what changed after the fix, and whether the change held up in a retest.
Three disciplines make that credible:
- Declared measurement surfaces. An API measurement is never presented as “your ChatGPT ranking.” Every number names its surface, provider, and conditions. See the measurement standard.
- Human review before visibility. Models only propose candidates. A human reviewer, and then you, confirm findings before they exist as conclusions.
- Null results are results. A retest that shows no change is reported with the same care as one that shows improvement.
What we refuse to promise
No vendor controls what an AI platform says. We do not sell rankings, guaranteed mentions, “AI scores” without published definitions, or adjudication of user opinions. We improve public facts, technical readability, and sources — then measure honestly.
The four product surfaces
| Surface | Status | Role |
|---|---|---|
| FactRelay Services | Available now | Expert delivery of the full workflow |
| Agent for macOS | Private preview | Desktop workbench for operators |
| Plugin for Codex | Private preview | Embedded agent entry with local review |
| Marketplace | Planned | Versioned, reviewable capability packs |
All four share the same objects — projects, facts, evidence, tasks, review decisions, publishing logs, retests — so starting with Services never means starting over later.
Where to start
The entry point for every engagement is the 14-day GEO Baseline: one brand, one market, one declared surface, frozen prompts, approved facts, and a retest schedule. A sanitized customer-facing example is available as the public demo case — a fictional brand and independently written simulated content, not an internal delivery template.
